Let's Get Social

Happy Sunday, my friends!

This "shifting into blogging" again was not as "simple" as I thought it would be.
HA! The irony.

How do you transition a family update blog to a Keeping It Simple - lifestyle blog?

Funny you should ask!

I have gone back and forth so much on how to really transition this into what I want it to be, I debated on deleting it and beginning something brand new, removing everything I have posted and starting with just the last post where I got back on, maybe removing everything and pretending the "begin again" post never happened...

Holy shnikeys!

(Not gonna lie, I googled that with "voice text" to see if there was really a way to spell shikeys and it pulled up POLISH NIKE'S, then tried a second time and it pulled up HOLY CHI CHI. This is what you're getting into here! You've been warned.)

Ultimately, I began this blog as a way for family and friends to keep up with us - but now HELLO insert ==> SOCIAL MEDIA! It has taken over the planet. So, that family update thingy isn't really needed anymore. Side note: be sure to follow me on Instagram @kristinsstone for LIFE stuff, you can snoop around to catch up on our crazy life and give me a shout so I can say HI!
Anyways, | SQUIRREL | back to what I was going to quickly share tonight - what I DID do is remove all the personal weekly updates from the past (it was 6 years ago, I mean c'mon, ain't nobody care about that!).

I left the few posts about the Torticollis and Plagiocephaly diagnoses and treatment of Emma when she was just a babe, because I remember how difficult it was 6 years ago to find resources, support and even one other person who could relate and calm my mommy spirit about what we were journeying though. And because of us sharing that journey, we've been privileged over the years to help guide other parents through similar experiences.

Also, Henry -- his story must stay. :) So the post of when we found out he was on his way and what a miracle that was after being told I wouldn't have more children, and the post of when he left this world will both stay here, tucked away in the archives and labeled in case anyone searches and needs some hope or encouragement through a storm.

Sometimes people just want resources and perspectives in tough seasons, and it may allow for others who feel like reaching out to share their own story with us, the opportunity. Because that is where my heart is. I would LOVE to hear your story, be an ear to speak to and a shoulder to lean on. And I mean that.

Loving, encouraging and supporting others through tough seasons it something that sets my soul on fire.

That and simplifying. I really, really - - I mean, REALLY - - love keeping things simple. The shift has happened, I found a way to not over-complicate it, not overthink it and keep it SIMPLE!

Thanks for being here. Get ready, because some great things are coming!

Much love!
Kristin
